Feature film directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, co-written with Alberto Conejero and inspired by one of Federico García Lorca’s last unfinished works. Starring Guitarricadelafuente, Miguel Bernardeau, Carlos González and Milo Quifes, the cast also includes Lola Dueñas, Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close.
The film intertwines the lives of three men across three different periods, connected by sexuality and desire, pain and legacy, reinterpreting Lorca’s universe through a contemporary lens.
The film had its world premiere in the Official Competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi received the Best Director Award.
People’s Choice Award at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
City of Donostia / San Sebastián Audience Award at the 2026 San Sebastián International Film Festival.
Selected by the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences to represent Spain in the Best International Feature Film category at the 2027 Academy Awards.
