A new production by Theatre Properties in collaboration with Atresmedia, based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s celebrated novel Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Featuring music by Frank Wildhorn and book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, the musical returns to Spanish stages with a new nationwide tour for the 2026/27 season.
Set in 19th-century Victorian London, the story follows Dr Henry Jekyll, a brilliant scientist obsessed with proving that good and evil coexist within every human being. His experiments on himself bring Edward Hyde, his darkest and most violent alter ego, to life, unleashing an increasingly uncontrollable struggle between his two natures.
Directed by Silvia Villaú, the production combines psychological drama, suspense and musical theatre with a large-scale staging, a carefully crafted recreation of Victorian London, and lighting and sound design conceived to heighten the intensity of the story.
